Do I Need a Run Coach?
- Online Coaching -
All online coaching will involve a two-way process of communication. You play a vital role in achieving your goals. We cannot do the work for you… that's your part. However, we can provide you with the necessary tools and support and accountability. Remember, this is not a generic training programme like those available in magazines, or online. This is a tailored training programme that is designed specifically for you against your agreed goals that is adaptable with time and progression. If you miss any time training, then that’s where we as your coach know where you need to pick up your training in order to stay on track and not get injured.
- Strength & Conditioning -
Running strong may involve a period of strength and conditioning to improve your body’s ability to run faster and longer and remain injury free.
With your training, you will be given recommended exercises that compliment your running programme. Strength and conditioning is even more important if any injuries occur and we can work with you to limit any downtime from being on track with your goals.
- Mental Preparation -
We all have physical and mental strength. Part of the journey to success is how you think and feel about yourself. Sophie has been through a number of life events, divorce, single parenthood, death of parents, miscarriages and injury setbacks. If life events happen, or you have a lack of confidence or self belief, Sophie will help you stay on track with your goals and strengthen your mind and body.
- Race Day Preparation -
We can provide support and advice for race crewing and nutrition.

Personal Training
Here at Project Run SC, we recognise that not everyone is able to or wants to run. Many of us simply want to do some exercise to help feel a little fitter, maybe lose weight, or just generally feel better about ourselves. Some of us want to exercise alone with a PT and others feel more comfort of being with a close friend, or group of friends to share that journey. Whatever your need, there is a path for you here at Project Run SC.
Everyone is individual, and that's exactly how we approach your PT sessions to ensure that you get the best from training to target your agreed goals; whatever they may be.
